We are delighted to have been considered as one of the top 3 innovators at the BDO Awards 2015.
What’s important to know is that we all share the same values and principles as voiced by Matthew, which is made clear through the high standard of work that we produce.
The evening had a very strong community feel to it, with the formal dinner and pre-awards acting as a great opportunity for networking with other successful businesses in the local area. Business isn’t just a race to the top, but a shared effort both within the company and with others.
Laura Trant, from BBC One's South Today, was the very welcome host for the evening. The questions she put forward were found to be extremely eye opening, helping us to shape our outlook on the rest of 2015 and beyond.
The profound question; “If you were the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what would you change” - meant Matthew had to think on his feet in speaking about business on a national scale.
As previously mentioned, business should incorporate a strong community aspect. It’s all to easy to speak about how your own business would benefit from changes, but being able to identify how everyone can benefit and move forward made for very interesting discussion. These thoughts will be taken forward and applied to our approach for the rest of 2015.
We’d like to thank everyone involved in making the event a success and considering us to be one of the top innovators.
