Product Description

The Cannon StreetWise Active Cabinets range provides a temperature controlled and secure environment for valuable and sensitive active equipment in a cost effective and space sensitive way. Most cabinets are manufactured from pre-galvanised 2mm thick steel which is then polyester powder painted to customer specified colours. Both air conditioners and heat exchangers are used to control the internal equipment environment and selection would be dependant on the customer's specification. Cannon StreetWise Active Cabinets are sealed to IP65 and are tailor made to suit customers' specific equipment, including EMC shielding where applicable. Life expectancy of these cabinets exceeds 25 years.

Large quantities of these cabinets have been deployed over the rail network under the Network Rail Certificate No PA05/02021.

Air management systems typically located within door void for easy servicing and maintenance

Manufactured in various sizes and to customer specifications

Cabinet is designed for "Active" high heat dissipating equipment

Heat loads from 500W to 7kW can be managed internally. Higher heat loads can be managed with additional external equipment.

Multi-chambered for technology segregation

Facility for temperature controlled, fully insulated battery housing to be fitted

Fitted with a separate fully insulated, removable thermal chamber for main equipment configuration

Thermal chamber attached to outer body shell via supports fitted with thermal barriers

Approvals to EU EMC directives available

Doors sealed using a dual seal technology

Internal fitments/mounting to customers requirements

The Thermal Transmittance Coefficient (U-Value) of the cabinet is ≤ 1.6-W/m²

Cabinet fully configured with both AC and DC power requirements

Thermal Chamber fitted with a cable entry gland system

Modular building techniques allow for customer design contribution

Doors secured with a Stainless steel multi-point dead locking system

Painted to customers specific colour requirements

Full multi-stage cleaning and pre-treatment prior to the application of a 90-micron powder coating

Manufactured from "Heavy gauge" galvanized material giving a 25-year life expectancy

Installed using "Transformer Root" mounting system for attachment to either a steel platform or concrete pad

Many cabinets are Network Rail approved

Includes many anti-vandal features within the construction

Used in Rail side applications for fibre optical regeneration and telephony systems

Used in street side applications for ADSL and cellular telephony systems

Can be fully mounted on isolation mounts

Will support both in-built weather shields and separate awnings/canopies

Option to fit AC or DC de-humidifiers or air to air heat exchangers without this facility

Optional AC or DC heaters available to counter the effects of ultra low temperatures

Remotely activated, electronic locks available

Detachable lifting/transport security lugs
