Nearly 30 Years of Enclosures & Cabinets
Cannon has 30 years experience of designing, testing and manufacturing high tech solutions for global customers. Initially for the defence industry; producing EMC enclosures, sophisticated enclosures embodying explosive de-compression systems, with system monitoring and resistant to high shock loads, of up to 30g.
In the mid 1980's the company moved into the civil 'IT' market using its considerable experience to develop and sell 19" and 23" enclosures to major users, capturing a high percentage of the UK Datacom market.
The company was the first in Europe to achieve certification of it's ETSi enclosure range.
The company transitioned into outdoor enclosures in the early 1990's producing enclosure systems for CTV, Telecoms and Radio Base Stations. Also, sophisticated enclosures for Rail track-side use embodying EMC, IP65, shock attenuation, thermal cooling systems and remote control electronics for the environmental envelope and access control with electronic locking.
During the late 1990's the Group expanded substantially, establishing production facilities in Europe and North America.
Currently the company enjoys the benefit of many years of sustained product development which has culminated in a product range which is unchallenged in the scope of user benefits it offers to customers.
