Cool Cab

Cool Cab is a specially designed enclosure system which is engineered to manage exceptionally high heat loads.

Cool Cab may be configured with various levels of thermal management to cater for various heat loads.

Cool Cab - FanCell Version

The FanCell version of Cool Cab can remove up to 20kw of heat from an equipped Cool Cab dependant on ambient temperatures of the room.

Large capacity fans fitted to the rear door pull air horizontally through the equipment in the enclosure to maintain acceptable operating temperatures. The heated air which exhausts to the room is then cooled by the air conditioning system provided by the building.

The vertical stacked fan positions on the rear door provide even air flow for servers and other equipment. This largely avoids the excessive heat which can build up in servers at the top of the enclosure in some other configurations.

The CannonGuard system provides full control and monitoring with various alarms, including over temperature alarms. Alarms may be local or via the World Wide Web.

Fans may be infinitely controlled for speed to respond to thermal demand. Vertical ducting may be added at the rear to direct exhaust air upwards to ceiling plenum.

Cool Cab - ChillCell Version

When the air conditioning of a room or building is inadequate to cope with generated heat loads, then CoolCab is available with water cooled heat exchanger modules.

This version provides a sealed circulating air flow around the equipped cabinet. The circulating air is cooled when it passes through the heat exchanger.

The cooling water circuit passes through a sealed system to a cooling device placed conveniently outside or inside the building. With this configuration, no heat load is passed to the general air conditioning of the room.

Cool Cab - Refrigerated Version

A sealed air flow system in the cabinet allows an attached refrigeration module to cool the air andmaintain desired operational temperature.

The waste heat from the refrigeration unit will escape to the environment around the installation.

Full control and alarm features are available via CannonGuard for either local or remote control.
