The NAP of the Americas is a Tier IV Network Access Point, and is the only facility of its kind specifically designed to link South America, Central America and the Caribbean with the rest of the world.

Cannon Technologies Ltd won a competitive tender against all major US enclosure producers to supply 25,000 enclosures to the project.
