Cannon Electronic Lock

The Cannon Electronic Lock is unique in providing a key override feature as standard which can be invaluable in situations where power fails or third parties may have damaged wiring or electrical actuators.
(This feature may be omitted).

Any unauthorised use of a key will immediately trigger an alarm. Available as Single, 2 point or 3-point locking, as required.

Features

• Quick conversion of any standard Cannon Smart Door to electronic, Local, Keypad or Remote opening
• Any Cannon enclosure can be fitted with CannonGuard electronic locks
• The Cannon Electronic Lock Swing Handle stays in position when electronically released allowing it to be re-locked at any time without local intervention
• This allows automatic re-locking to take place where the lock has been inadvertently opened remotely
• There is NO indication on the handle that it is unlocked, this is to prevent 'opportunist' access. ('Pop' out handle available where desired)
• The lock can be opened and automatically relocked on a selectable time delay of up to 16 hours. (8-Lock)
• The lock handle is individually alarmed, in series with the door alarm. Therefore, if one or the other is open an alarm will still be raised.
• The duration that a lock is held open is easily user configurable via CannonView. (8-Lock)
• The Cannon Electronic Lock can be opened either remotely, or locally with the Cannon Multi-Function Keypad
• Wiring to the lock is hidden in the Smart Door frame and within the escutcheon mouldings for maximum protection
• Customer, Site & Contract key sets (including matching side panel locks) available

8-Lock Control Module

The 8-way PWM lock control module provides the facility to locally or remotely manage, operate and monitor eight individual electronically operated locks and eight individual alarm circuits. It can unlock doors for pre-programmed times
and automatically relock them after a pre-set delay.

Four digital inputs allow 3rd party lock control. The 8-lock module continuously monitors all of the lock devices and alarm cabling connected to it to check for tampering attempts.

PWM function allows the module to open all 8 locks and hold them open for up to 16 hours - using low power PWM control.

Connects with

The module can be used to provide full remote access:

• A Net/IP or 'Master controller' is required to run CannonView:
  • 2 x RJ45, RS485 'daisy chain' connectors are provided for connection of the CannonGuard data bus
• Additionally the 8-way lock control module is provided with 4 digital inputs for the interconnection and monitoring of other equipment e.g. 3rd party lock controllers:
  • Rfid / Swipe / Biometric.
• Also any N/C or N/O switch may be monitored - air conditioning systems, fire detection and UPS systems etc
