The system is based on 'plug and play' modules that can be used stand alone or daisy chained together in a high security, resilient system with remote control from multiple locations concurrently, with full event recording and audit trail.

Out of Band Communication

When it is important to reach the CannonGuard system over a network, such as when a router is down or a server is refusing all Ethernet traffic it may be necessary to log in locally or power cycle it. This could involve sending technician, or guiding onsite unskilled customer to unplug the suspect device.

'Out of Band Management' is designed to be used as a secndary management path to a remote site for use when the primary network is in question.

With 'Out of Band Management' this can be completed remotely, via dial-up modems using ADSL, PSTN or GPRS networking, providing faster recovery and reducing costs and down time.

A variety of 'Out of Band' solutions are available, and need to be tailored to individual requirements, please contact Cannon for further details.
