High Quality has always been a core value of the Cannon Technologies Group, and continues to be so.
Currently Cannon Technologies is certified by the British Standard Institution (BSI) to the highest level possible ISO 9001:2008 and was one of the first organisations to achieve this certification.
Quality procedures are fully integrated into the Cannon culture to ensure that Cannon customers receive predicable and continuous high quality products and services.
International and National certification is widely augmented by Trade and Association certification.

Cannon Technologies is located close to several protected areas, e.g. the New Forest National Park and the cliffs at Highcliffe. Additionally there are many SSSIs (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) within a short radius.
Cannon Technologies is committed to eliminating adverse environmental impacts our operations may have on the environment. We are also committed to meeting or exceeding the requirements of applicable environmental legislation:
Environmental policies and procedures are fully integrated into the Cannon culture to ensure that all Cannon products are manufactured to a high quality whilst ensuring that the BSI certification is upheld.
To ensure we meet our commitments, we undertake the monitoring and reviewing of our environmental performance regularly and where required take appropriate corrective actions. Additionally, we have annual assessments of our Permit To Operate carried out by the local authroities. We ensure that there are sufficient resources and arrangements in place to achieve and maintain appropriate levels of control, communication and competence.

Cannon is fully compliant with the EU Directive for RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) in the manufacture of its products.
Cannon is registered (No. 3216903) with Transform for the Removal and Recycling of Products under the EU Directive for WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Transform is approved by the Environment Agency (WEE/HA0065TW).

At Cannon we understand that health and safety in the work place isn’t just a legal and moral responsibility - it’s an absolute necessity.
All of our employees are inducted in Health and Safety professional standards and adhere to strict procedures and policies throughout the organisation.
In addition to full Health and Safety policies Cannon holds registration and compliance to the Health and Safety standard OHSAS 18001:2007.

Cannon is a long term supplier of trackside cabinets to Network Rail and has been granted Link-Up supplier accreditation.
In addition to BSI Quality and Environmental registration Cannon has achieved various Network Rail approvals for a number of the cabinets in the outdoor cabinet range.
