8-Lock Control Module

The 8-way lock control module provides the facility to remotely manage, operate and monitor eight individual electronically operated locks and eight individual alarm circuits. The 8-lock module continuously monitors all of the lock and alarm cabling connected, and provides a full fault detection system for all of the associated cabling.

The module can be used to provide full remote access, must be interconnected to the Master Controller by way of the communications connectors, and as such each 8-Lock Control Module is fitted with two RJ45 - RS485 connectors such that when used in an integrated control system, any additional control modules can easily be connected via a daisy chain method.

The system also provides the facility to connect and locally monitor both temperature and humidity which can be used to raise a local or remote alarm when the environmental conditions exceed the preset boundaries. Additionally the 8-way lock control module is provided with 4 digital inputs for the interconnection and monitoring of other equipment e.g. air conditioning systems, fire detection and UPS systems etc.
